Weekly Communications – Week beginning 1st of July
I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all the staff in school to thank you for all your support during the school year. Please keep up the hard work over the Summer with learning times tables and lots of reading!
In September we will be launching our Year of Reading- please keep a check on our website and see if any of the staff are busy reading over the holidays!
Our Y6 children move on to their new schools and although we will definitely miss them, we wish them every success in the next phase of their education.
We all look forward to welcoming our new starters into Venus class in September and also the new children who will join Mercury. Mercury children will still be based in their current classroom, so please keep to your usual routine as we come back to school.
Monday 2nd September is a staff training day so we look forward to seeing the children on Tuesday 3rd September from 8.45am.
We wish you all a very safe and happy summer holiday.
Our vision provides a guiding light to the pupils, staff, Governors and parents to ensure we have a dynamic mix of high achievement for all, exceptional pastoral care and expansive opportunities for the children. We want our children to become the exemplary citizens of the future. We are a vibrant, happy, family orientated community where everyone really feels they can flourish and achieve anything to which they set their hearts and minds.
Cut Off Date for Back to School orders with School shop is 7th August 2019, all orders placed by that date are guaranteed to be delivered before school starts in September.
What a great sporting year we have had in school. I am looking forward to next year and all the many sporting events to come! Have a lovely summer – Best wishes, Mrs Umpleby.
