Weekly Communications

Weekly Communications – Week beginning 14th of October

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you to the parents who joined us in school this week to attend the EYFS curriculum meeting and the Thirsk Secondary school information evening.

Mr Chubb , our CEO, joined us in school on Thursday for Collective Worship. He talked to the children about mental health and well being and also about or school being part of the Dales Academies Trust.

As part of the Trust we are moving to a new Management Information System (MIS) called Bromcom for collecting our attendance, school meals and payments. This will involve a new log-in system for parents which will rolled out after the half term holiday.

This will be a smooth transfer from our current system to our new and Mrs Forrest will be available to support you if there are any issues.

We will send out more detailed information to you regarding this in the next few weeks.

We would like to invite you to our Harvest Festival on Friday 25th October at 2.30pm in St Andrew’s church. From Monday 21st October to Friday 25th October we will be collecting green tinned or dried produce eg tinned peas to make our Harvest Wall in school, this will then be used by the Hambleton Food Share. Thank you in advance for your kind donations.

Have a relaxing weekend,

Amanda Gledhill

Our vision provides a guiding light to the pupils, staff, Governors and parents to ensure we have a dynamic mix of high achievement for all, exceptional pastoral care and expansive opportunities for the children. We want our children to become the exemplary citizens of the future. We are a vibrant, happy, family orientated community where everyone really feels they can flourish and achieve anything to which they set their hearts and minds.

Bags to school raised £180 – thank you very much for all your kind donations.

Please do not use your mobile phone in school.
