Vision and Values

Our Vision Statement

This vision provides a guiding light to the pupils, staff, Governors and parents to ensure we have a dynamic mix of high achievement for all, exceptional pastoral care and expansive opportunities for the children. We want our children to become the exemplary citizens of the future. We are a vibrant, happy, family orientated community where everyone really feels they can flourish and achieve anything to which they set their minds and hearts.

Our Christian Values

Seven Stars

Spirituality

At our school, we believe spirituality is shown by the sharing and expression of individual’s beliefs. This is promoted through an enjoyment and fascination of our universe. We encourage in all a willingness to reflect on our own experiences and the experiences of others.

We offer the opportunity to learn about the love of God the Father; the life and teachings of Jesus and to experience the grace of the Holy Spirit. We have close links with St Andrew’s church which is next to our school. We use the school to celebrate the Christian festivals with Father Robert, parents, Governors and our local community.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are writing to inform you of an important change at the school.

At the end of the summer term, our Headteacher, Miss Gledhill, will be retiring from her role.
