Good Morning Neptune,

Today’s tasks are as follows:

1 – TTRS – Can you please complete one soundcheck and your gig for this month.

2 – Spelling Shed – Take at least 10 minutes practising our new spelling rule that we started to learn yesterday (13^th April 2026).

3 – Maths task – see the year group Math’s worksheet. Both year groups are focusing on fraction work that we have already learnt.

Y3 – Fractions and Scales

Step 1 – Think about how many parts (denominator)

Step 2 – How many parts do you have (numerator)

Y4 – Mixed Number Fractions – comparing and ordering

Step 1 – How many wholes

Step 2 – What is the denominator

Step 3 – What is the numerator

4- English task – Using the images identify a range of vocabulary specified and then create a range of sentences to describe. This will support our mystery story writing linking to our class novel.

You do not need to print the worksheets, you can use any paper (lined/plain/squared).
