Dear Parents and Carers,
Have you ever thought about becoming a teacher? Is it something you’ve often thought about doing? Do you have a degree?
If the answer to these questions is ‘Yes’ then there is something you can do about it now! This school is one of the 20 partnership schools of High Force Education SCITT, helping to train the next generation of primary teachers in the North East.
The SCITT is run by the schools in the partnership and the course is delivered by teachers from those schools. This means that trainees get support and guidance from people who do the job day in and day out. Teachers who graduate from the SCITT are well prepared for the profession and many go on to become school leaders. In fact, I trained at the SCITT myself.
If you are interested in training with the SCITT then get in touch with the course leader, Gemma Firmin, on 01833 630487 or email her at info@highforceeducation.co.uk. There are still some places left for this September!
If you want to become a teacher, don’t put it off any longer contact the SCITT.
Yours sincerely,
Rob Goffee
SCITT Course Director and Head Teacher of Green Lane CE Primary School
