‘Shine like stars in the universe’
Philippians 2;15
Our vision provides a guiding light to the pupils, staff, Governors and parents to ensure we have a dynamic mix of high achievement for all, exceptional pastoral care and expansive opportunities for the children. We want our children to become the exemplary citizens of the future. We are a vibrant, happy, family orientated community where everyone really feels they can flourish and achieve anything to which they set their hearts and minds.

RE
We use the National Curriculum alongside our vision to ensure we offer a dynamic mix of expansive curriculum opportunities for the children and high achievement for all. We want our children to become the exemplary citizens of the future.
As part of our RE curriculum we follow the Dioceses of Leeds and York Diocesan Syllabus.
Our Christian Values
Respect through: integrity, respect, wisdom, creativity, perseverance, kindness and thankfulness
Spirituality
At our school, we believe spirituality is shown by the sharing and expression of individual’s beliefs. This is promoted through an enjoyment and fascination of our universe. We encourage in all a willingness to reflect on our own experiences and the experiences of others.
We offer the opportunity to learn about the love of God the Father; the life and teachings of Jesus and to experience the grace of the Holy Spirit. We have close links with St Andrew’s church which is next to our school. We use the school to celebrate the Christian festivals with Father Robert, parents, Governors and our local community.
